Forrest’s Orewa chapel in Riverside Road has recently been completely refurbished and dedicated by local clergy. Visitors to the official opening day commented on the restful colours and the comfortable feel of the place, and particularly liked the free-flow space for catering after the funeral with its use of the outdoor garden and a giant sunshade for hot Hibiscus Coast days.
